Community Coaching Programmes
Youth Coaching for your community by your
community
If you are part of a group, which serves young people and you
wish to develop your very own sustainable coaching service then
this is for you.
The Academy is passionate about taking individuals from a host
community and equipping them with the appropriate skills set
and systems to run their own coaching service, for their people
by their people.
Examples of community Coaching programmes
-
Schools have developed their own youth peer
coaching services, where the pupils are trained to deliver
coaching for fellow pupils
-
Graduates of Jamie Oliver’s 15 restaurants
have been trained to become mentor coaches for new
students
-
Youth centres have developed their staff to
run their own youth coaching service for the young people
who attend their centre
-
A group of parents wishing to provide a
Youth Coaching Service for the young people in the primary
schools within their area
As you can see if you serve a group of young people the
opportunity is there to commission a youth coach or develop
your own in-house coaching service.
A typical Community Coaching Programme is as
follows:
-
Deliver coaching skills training to a large
number of your community
-
Identify a smaller group from the above and
train them to accredited levels
-
Support the accredited coaches to develop
the systems to run a sustainable and effective youth
coaching service
